Since 1997, the Breast Cancer Resource Center has been dedicated to serving the Santa Barbara community. The BCRC cottage is a warm and welcoming place where a woman and her loved ones can hear a soothing voice that says "I understand how you feel."
At the BCRC you will find a caring network of people ready to answer questions and help you obtain information so that you are better able to make informed decisions and advocate for your breast health.
"By walking through the door of the BCRC I finally had to admit to myself that I had breast cancer and once I did, I embraced the healing support, kindness and services offered to me." - Audrey N., client
"When I heard the Doctor say, "I'm sorry, you have breast cancer," I heard nothing else. I felt so many things - fear, denial, anxiety, guilt, sadness and especially loneliness. It was a relief when I walked into the BCRC, sat down and talked about my fears, concerns and what I could expect from living with cancer. They provided books to read and supplies that I never would have thought of for my mastectomy." - Lola G., client
"The BCRC most definitely made a significant impact on my progress toward recovery. Whatever I encountered along my journey, I knew with certainty that I had a place I could turn to and that I was never alone." - Julie R., client
