A Story of Hope: Charmian Tallman
We are grateful to Charmian Tallman for sharing her story and we celebrate her place of thriving. May her story inspire hope.
The Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara (BCRC) is here to support, encourage and uplift anyone facing the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and working to navigate their unique journey.
There are so many questions and unknown challenges when facing a breast cancer diagnosis—we understand. The BCRC is here to listen, empower, inspire as well as provide practical support, guidance, and resources from diagnosis through survivorship.
Sometimes it’s providing a compassionate space of listening, nourishing soup, or a soft, warm hat, it may be fresh flowers to brighten the day, or the comfort of a community that knows how you feel—whatever the need, the BCRC is here to help. Connection with our clients happens in so many ways, including support groups, meditation, education programs, peer counseling and wellness phone calls.
The best way to understand the impact of the BCRC is through the voices of our grateful and courageous clients who have experienced our programs and support community throughout their unique journey. We are grateful to Charmian Tallman for sharing her story and we celebrate her place of thriving. May her story inspire hope.
As an independent organization, the BCRC is funded solely by the generosity of our community. Please support our efforts by providing any level of a financial gift that you can. Your donations ensure the BCRC can offer all our essential services free of charge and remain available to anyone who needs us. Your contribution makes a difference!
