Reiki promotes deep relaxation and has been found to reduce pain and anxiety, relieve stress and promote recovery so you can better manage the side effects of cancer treatment. Reiki has been found to improve overall sense of well-being and the ability to cope with cancer treatment, and has helped many people living with cancer.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. And there is nothing you must believe in order to use Reiki. Many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of generating peace, wellbeing and healing.
Individual Reiki sessions are 45-50 minutes and are available at no charge for those currently receiving or recovering from recent breast cancer treatment.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and given while you are lying, fully clothed, on a massage table or sitting in a chair.
